It has been a little bit over a year now since I got heavily involved in the twitter community and my freelance business has taken off. I’ve designed logos, t-shirts, billboards, trade show exhibits, websites, magazines… It has all been amazing. The people I have met along the way have been so supportive, gracious and just incredible. I can not thank you all enough.
I have been doing some thinking/soul-searching lately, and realized that I want something that I can call my own. It is awesome to be a part of so many projects, and I plan to continue that, but at the same time, I want to get something out there that is “mine”. I want to share my art, my photography, my designs. I want people to be wearing a McNally, or have a McNally hanging on their wall.
People have asked me on many occasions where they can buy my work. My answer has always been “I don’t really sell it”. I really only did work for other people and helped them design their own projects. That is about to change. I am going to be opening an online store. I will be selling original t-shirts, hoodies, posters, canvas prints & more.
I am very excited about this, and I hope that you are too. I will always be open to suggestions and ideas. Of course, I plan on all of this being golf related, but who knows? I may stray to other subject matter along the way. It is going to be fun. That is what it has always been about anyway.
Having this outlet will give me some motivation to keep coming up with cool new ideas. It will give the drive that I have been lacking when it comes to being original and fresh. You will recognize some things, and hopefully you will be happy to get your hands on some of them. At the same time, I will do my best to keep new stuff coming as often as possible.
The store is not ready to launch yet. It will probably be a couple of weeks, but I just wanted to give you a heads up. Telling you now will help me find out if there is some level of interest. Even if I sell one shirt, or one print, this will be worth it. But I really think that some people will want to have my artwork, and that feels pretty damn good.
More to come… Thank you all SO MUCH!
